Here at Nottingham City Netball Club we take the privacy of our members’ data seriously and are committed to ensuring that personal information is held fairly, lawfully and securely in accordance with data protection laws. We typically collect personal information about our members when you apply to become a member of the club, apply for one of our tournaments, when you make a query and/or complaint or when you correspond with us by phone, e-mail or in some other way. If you are providing us with details of umpires, next of kin, family members and emergency contacts they have a right to know and to be aware of how what personal information we hold about them, how we collect it and how we use and may share that information. Please share this privacy policy with those of them whom you feel are sufficiently mature to understand it. They also have the same rights as set out in the “YOUR RIGHTS” section below.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
As an England Netball affiliated club, we will provide your name, contact details and date of birth to the England Netball to administer your England Netball affiliation including the insurance cover. We will never share or sell your data without your prior permission.
RETAINING AND DELETING PERSONAL DATA
We do not retain personal information in an identifiable format for longer than is necessary (maximum of 10 years). Where you have consented for us to retain your data, we will only hold the data for the duration of your consent.
CHILDREN
Children’s data are collected and processed in accordance with the information in this policy. Parents and guardians are expected to ensure that the children they are responsible for are aware of how their personal data will be processed by us. We require parental or guardian consent to process personal data of any child under the age of 14.
