Nottingham City Netball Club is a thriving netball club with strong junior and senior sections. Our club was established 1963 (yes, we have been going for a long time!) and we have gone from strength to strength ever since! We compete in multiple local and regional competitions including the East Midlands Regional League where we have 2 teams representing the club (Aces in Division 1 and Comets in Division 3).

We train indoors at Nottingham Girls High School (Tues/Wed evenings) and play matches on Saturdays/Sundays, and are always looking for new junior and senior members so we can continue to build on the success of the last 56 years.

We have also been recognised as an effective, safe and friendly sports club for both juniors and adults. The Club has achieved a fantastic Silver Accreditation in the Club Action Planning Scheme (CAPS). The scheme CAPS helps Netball clubs function in the most efficient way, with least long-term hassle. It is directly linked to Sport England’s Clubmark scheme and it’s all about good practice in the development of players, coaches and umpires at all levels.

This achievement shows that Nottingham City Netball Club meets high quality standards in:

  1. The playing or participation programme
  2. Duty of care and child protection
  3. Sports equity and ethics
  4. Club management
